Welcome to Aum Healing Center

We’re thrilled that you’ve made the decision to take charge of your health with us! To get started, here some important things to be aware of.

If you have an HMO Insurance plan, this requires a referral from your current primary care physician before your appointment with us (unless you contact your insurance provider to make Dr. Arora your primary care physician). This is standard procedure to ensure your visit is covered by your insurance.

If you have Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO, here are a few simple steps to take before you call to book an appointment:

1. Contact your current Primary Care Physician (PCP).

2. Inform your current PCP that you are planning to book an appointment to see Dr. Arora.

3. Give your PCP Dr. Arora’s NPI: 1679760748. The Date of Service will be the day that you first contacted our office. Ask your PCP for 6 visits. Your PCP will then process that request. We ask that you obtain the referral directly and call us with the authorization number. Once this has been completed, please contact Aum Healing Center at 617.350.3134 to schedule an appointment.

What are the next steps after I get a referral?

Contact Aum Healing Center with the referral number and we’ll schedule your appointment. Please have your insurance and credit card with you at that time of your appointment. Prepare to bring all your recent lab work and supplements to your appointment.

What are HMO or PPO plans?

HMO means "Health Maintenance Organization." HMO plans offer a wide range of healthcare services through a network of providers who agree to supply services to members. 

PPO means "Preferred Provider Organization" plans, allow patients to visit whatever in-network physician or healthcare provider they wish without first requiring a referral from a primary care physician.

We recommend you contact your insurance provider directly via phone to determine if a referral is needed and/or whether your plan covers visits at our center.
